Battles are fought by switching seven colourful game pieces to create matching rows of three or more. You can attack, save up mana, or unleash one of your powerful spells.
But what is a hero without a quest? The game tells the story of your hero’s epic journey, with each victory bringing you closer to the ultimate battle against the Warlords. Along the way you will meet characters whose stories cross paths with your own. Helping them will mean a companion that helps you complete your quest. As your quest continues you will gain in experience levels, learn new spells and abilities, find magical artifacts, arms and armour, and even mounts that aid you in battle!
Puzzle Quest for the iPhone and iPod Touch includes game content from the Revenge of the Plague Lord expansion pack in addition to the original game. Each instalment stores characters, spells and high scores, allowing you to carry your heroes forward from chapter to chapter. The final chapter of the trilogy will be available on the App Store soon.

YOUR HEROES HAVE SURVIVED!
Some of our users have had trouble with save games not carrying over to the 2.1.0 release of Puzzle Quest. Rest assured that your heroes are safe and sound and your progress has not been lost. If you go to the “Heros / Instant Action” menu, you will find all of your heroes there, ready to continue their quests.
New in Puzzle Quest 2.1.0:
iOS 5 SUPPORT
iOS 5 is now supported and should be working on all iOS devices. Issues users were having with editing the name of their hero in the Create Hero screen should also be resolved.
BETTER LOOKING AND BETTER PERFORMING
Many graphical and gameplay issues have been fixed. The game runs faster and looks better, especially with the new Retina display support.
STORE IMPROVEMENTS
A simpler interface to the Puzzle Quest Store for purchasing additional chapters has been added as well as a “Restore” button to easily retrieve chapters you have previously purchased.
